PadScribe ("we," "us," or "our") provides tools to help you generate real estate listing descriptions. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use PadScribe.com and any related products or services (collectively, the "Service").

2. Information we collect

We collect and process the following types of information:

• Account information: email address and basic profile data you provide when you sign up or log in.
• Usage data: interactions with the app, such as the number of generations, selected modes (Sales/Vacation), and non-identifying analytics.
• Content you upload: property photos, amenities, and text you enter to generate listing descriptions.
• Payment information: limited billing-related details handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and basic log data used for security and reliability.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the PadScribe Service.
• Authenticate users and secure accounts.
• Generate listing descriptions based on your inputs.
• Manage credits, payments, and billing.
• Monitor for abuse, misuse, or security issues.
• Communicate with you about updates, support, and service-related announcements (you can opt out of certain non-essential communications).

4. Third-party services and data sharing

We rely on trusted third-party providers to deliver parts of the Service. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect it:

• Supabase: authentication, database, and storage of user accounts, credits, and uploaded images.
• OpenAI (or similar model providers): processing of text and images to generate listing descriptions and detect amenities.
• Stripe: payment processing and credit purchases.
• Analytics and logging tools: used to understand general usage patterns and maintain reliability.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information if required by law, in connection with a merger or acquisition, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

5. Data retention

We retain account and billing information for as long as you maintain an account and as needed for legitimate business and legal purposes. Generated listing text and history may be retained to provide your account history and to improve the Service.

You may request deletion of your account; some information may remain in backups or logs for a limited period or as required by law.

6. Your choices

• You can update your account information through the Service or by contacting us.
• You may request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to our legal and contractual obligations.
• You can control certain cookie and tracking settings through your browser.

7. Security

We use technical and organizational measures that are appropriate to the nature of the data we process, including encryption in transit and access controls. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's privacy

PadScribe is intended for use by real estate professionals and property owners. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Service or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service or by email.
